Winter in the Northwoods is as dreamy as you’d imagine: think snow covering the pines like royal icing, deer wandering through on their way to the sweet mix the neighbors set out (I know it’s not technically legal, but these poor deer are starving!), a crackling wood stove keeping the cabin warm, and a singing kettle piping hot for the next round of tea.
